Importance and necessity of Tajweed Al-Quran

Importance and necessity of Tajweed Al-Quran

The word Tajweed means proficiency. It means giving every single letter of the Quran its dues when it is recited. In this article, we will learn the importance of tajweed and the reasons why we should always recite the Quran with tajweed.

1- The appearance of the angel Gabriela

The Quran was first revealed with Tajweed applied to it. When the angel Jibreel (Gabriel) recited the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah exalt his mention), he recited them with tajweed, showing him the way to recite it. Therefore, it is mandatory that we apply these rules in order to recite the Quran in its original, true form. Learn quran online

2- The Quran is the words of Allah

Every syllable of the Quran is from Allah, so Muslims have to take the Quran’s recitation seriously. The purpose of Tajweed is to give the reciter proficiency pronouncing every syllable with the rules that apply to it. This way, the reciter can recite the Quran without changing the way of the Prophet who received it from Almighty Allah. Allah told us: “recite the Quran with measured recitation.” (Quran 73:4).

Jumma Namaz for Muslims is a Blessing of Allah(SWT)

Jumma Namaz for Muslims is a Blessing of Allah(SWT)

Friday is the sixth day of the Islamic week. The literal meaning of Friday is congregation. In Islam, this day has the most important than any other day of the week. Every Friday, Jumma namaz is offered and for this prayer special time is taken. Imams of all masjids deliver khutbah on a special topic every Friday. Importance of Jumma is in one of hadith of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H):
“There is an hour on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while offering Salat and asks something from Allah Almighty, then Allah will definitely fulfill his demands and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) pointed out the shortness of that particular time with his hands.” and you can learn more about how to learn quran online.
Jumma Namaz

Preparation of Jumma Namaz:

Cleansing is the the half faith of Muslims in the religion of Islam. It is obligatory on every Muslim to be clean before offering prayer. There are some preparations that every Muslim should prepare for Friday prayer before going to the mosque. The first act to start with is to get purified by having a shower and also ablution should be performed. Dress in clean clothes. The application of Itr (Perfume) is also one of the main things or you can apply Surma in your eyes as well.
Maintaining dignity and not talking between the prayers is a kind of etiquette one should follow. Try to sit close to Imam, if there is a place in the front rows of the Imam. A person should avoid stepping over people to get a particular spot in the mosque. Try to sit where you find a place and don’t disturb others.

Jumma Namaz:

The importance of Friday can understand by the fact that there is a complete Surah in the Holy Quran after the day of Jumma. As we also mentioned above, Muslims gather on Friday in mosques to pray to the Jumma Namaz collectively in the congregation. Before starting the prayer the orator delivers a speech, which is called “Friday Sermon” or “Khutbah”. The orator admonishes people and gives Quran lessons about religious matters and affairs in Friday sermon.
Muslims should listen to the sermon attentively. Any type of conversation during the sermon is prohibited. After the Imam has delivered the second part of the sermon, the Iqamah is recited and the Imam leads the congregational two Rakat of Jumma Namaz.
The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) Islam did not approve of a person telling others to refrain from conversation while the Imam is delivering his Sermon. In unavoidable circumstances, a gesture by hand or with a finger can be made to draw the attention of someone to stop talking. In case the Imam asks something during the sermon, then he should  reply him.
The Friday prayer always takes place in the afternoon. It replaces the afternoon prayer. Many mosques in the West have fix timing in which everyone say Jumma Namaz. Jummah namaz time in most mosques will usually fall between 12-3 pm.

Respect your Parents, even at their old Age and learn quran online

The status of parents in Islam is very high. We as a Muslim should give respect and love to our parents. Parents are should treat well at all times this is one of the most virtuous acts in the sight of Almighty Allah. Parents and children in Islam are bonded together by mutual obligations. Islam commands us to respect your parents. If we consider Quran guidance, Allah Almighty says in Holy Quran:
“No mother should be harmed through her child and no father through his child.”
                                                                                                                         (Quran 2:233)
From the above-mentioned verse of Holy Quran, we can conclude that Quran has made it obligatory for the child to treat his parents with all grace and mercy.

Respect your Parents

Importance of Parents in Islam:

When asked about the people who taught us the most, who were there for us through hardships, who laughed with us during the good times, who put up with us on our off days, most of us think immediately of our parents. And it is true: our parents are the ones who have been with us through almost everything in our lives. Our mothers carry us for nine grueling months before we are born, and for at least eighteen years afterwards, our parents, to list a few things, take care of us, teach us, help us, and provide for us financially and academically. Without them, most of us would not be in the places we are today.
Unfortunately, however, many people do not treat their parents in the manner they deserve. Teenagers fight relentlessly with their parents, often over extremely trivial topics. Other young people ignore their parents, rather spending time with their friends or online. As we get older, we tend to forget that our parents are growing older than well, and they are pushed aside to living on their own or in nursing homes while we start our own families. Not only is this disregard unfair to our parents, it is also strictly forbidden in Islam. God has commanded us to treat our parents with utmost respect, no matter the situation we are in.

Parents Rights, According to Quran and Sunnah:

The Quranic commandments and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) guide us in the matter of respecting parents with love, respect, and kindness. Quran’s guidance is considered very important for the whole of mankind. The Quran also encourages people to respect your parents. Allah mentions that human beings must recognize their parents and that this is second only to the recognition of Allah Himself. In Holy Quran Allah Almighty beautifully explained:
“And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them ‘uff’ and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say:
‘My Lord! Have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.’”
                                                                                                                       (Quran 17:23-24)
In the Holy Quran respect of parents mentioned eleven times. Allah Almighty has mentioned in every instance to recognize and to appreciate love that your parents gave to you. Regarding this Allah states in Holy Quran:
“And We have enjoined upon man goodness to parents.”
                                                                     (Quran 29:8 & 46:15)
Let us pray to Allah Almighty that we do our best to respect our parents, honor them, be kind to them, and please them. So that we may gain the love of Allah Almighty.
