His benevolence has no bounds. Allah had made certain months and certain days better than others. He has also made even certain days and nights better than other. During those times the reward of doing good deeds is increased. He raised the reward of good deeds and virtuous
faith in certain times of the year so that we can earn his mercy with minimal strive. One of those times where His blessings are in search of Muslims in is first 10 days of Dul Hajj. Although this fact is not very commonly known by believers today, but the authenticity of can be proved by Bukhari shareef : Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The people asked, “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said, “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing.” (Reported by al-Bukhari, 2/457).
